Darren Fischer Drafted by Angels

Congratulations to Darren Fischer on his selection by the Los Angelos Angels in this year's Major League Draft.  He will graduate this year from Cumberland Regional High School.  Darren alomg with his father Gary have also played their summer ball for Joyce's Stars in the Salem County League.  Both father and son are currently on the Stars roster.  Darren was also a member of the North Cumberland All Star team that won the Senior Little League World Series in Bangor Maine in 2008.  He was the only high school player from South Jersey selected in this year's draft.
